Firms that join the British Columbia Printing and Imaging Association are offered a wide variety of industry resources including for Active Members an Affiliate Membership in the National Association of Printing Leadership (NAPL) and for all members a Premium Membership in Whattheythink.com plus an Associate Membership in the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters. The printing industry in Canada is one of the most economically important and technologically advanced industrial sectors and through its relationship with other similar associations across Canada offers a solid advocacy program. Canada’s printing industry is the fourth largest manufacturing employer in the nation with more than 85,000 employees, who work in 8,500 establishments. Our MembersMembers of the BCPIA are progressive, innovative firms engaged in the selling of services and products to both domestic and international print buyers. Members range from large corporations to smaller family run businesses. These firms are engaged in the manufacturing of printed products from prepress through bindery. Suppliers to the industry join as associate members. Our Board of DirectorsThe British Columbia Printing & Imaging Association is governed by a Board of Directors including up to 13 Active Members and two Supplier Members. The Board is responsible for determining the direction and policies for the BCPIA. The Executive Director manages the Association and facilitates the direction and policies set out by the Board of Directors.BCPIA also has a number of Standing Committees which report to the Board Directors.
